The Rahul Group of education are well known in the coastal belt from Mira Bhayandar to Palghar region of Thane district of Maharashtra for the holistic education, ultra-modern infrastructure and sports facilities extended to their students.

The Group was founded in 1992 by Shri. L.R.Tiwari, a businessman from Bhayandar who was driven by the inner voice to provide good quality education to the masses at a cost that is affordable to the common man. His tryst with the mission – 'Education for all' started in 1992 with the establishment of Mother Mary's English High School at Rahul Park, Bhayandar (East) with an enrolment of 180 students. This school, located in the prime area soon became popular because of the quality of education and infrastructure offered at a cost affordable to common man.

Inspired by the overwhelming response of the parents and students, Shri. Tiwari proceeded to establish more schools and replicate his model to offer good education at affordable cost to masses in Bhayander, Mira Road, Nallasopara and Palghar region. Currently the 20 schools and colleges under the aegis of Rahul Group accommodate nearly 35000 students. Rahul Group proposes to diversity in higher and technical education in near future with an objective to open up further avenues for higher studies for the students.

RIS is an initiative of Rahul Group to bring good quality education to Vasai-Virar area which has become the center of development in terms of real estate, Infrastructure and population growth. RIS will fulfill the long standing need of school offering CBSE syllabus in this area and provide immense benefit to the students who plan to appear for the competitive examinations for their higher education.

With a world class infrastructure, experienced and qualified faculty and efficient administrative set up that is being offered, the RIS will serve as a 'bright spot' on the existing school education scenario in this part of Thane district that is evolving into 'extended western suburbs' of Mumbai.

Initially RIS offers admission to eligible students from Pre-primary to Class VI. The further classes XII will be added progressively in subsequent years.

RIS is managed by Smt. KLT Education Society (Rgd.) which was established in the year 1998 and egistered under Society Registration Act 1860 maha/338/98 and Bombay Societies Act (Registration No. F/7128/Thane)
